Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Southern on site Telehandler role requires a current CPCS blue card or NPORS CSCS ticket and at least 3 years of Telehandler experience in a high-end residential setting. You will load/unload materials, transport goods around site, check loads, stack pallets and perform daily equipment checks.

The position is temporary, full-time with pay of £20-£21 per hour in the Arundel area, offering ongoing construction work with a reputable company.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Obtain production schedule copies daily and transport materials on site.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and move pallets or crates as required.
• Check loads are secure and stack empty pallets.
• Perform daily equipment checks and maintenance tasks.

Job description

The company:

A well-established regional developer who builds between 30-50 units with a focus on high-end.

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

About you:

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• You will need a current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket.
• A minimum of 3 years+ experience operating a Telehandler in the same environment.

Salary:

GBP20 - GBP21 per hour
