Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London in the Minster on Sea area is seeking an experienced Telehandler to support on-site operations under a temporary (full-time) contract. You must hold a valid CPCS blue card or NPORS CSCS ticket and bring solid on-site material handling experience.

Responsibilities include moving loads, loading/unloading, transporting materials, checking loads, stacking pallets, and performing daily equipment checks. A strong team ethic and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS ticket.
• Minimum of 3 years+ experience operating a Telehandler in similar environments.
• Health and safety awareness advantageous.

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks.
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets.
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.

The role

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks

• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.

About you:

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.

Required skills and attributes

• You will need a current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket.
• A minimum of 3 years+ experience operating a Telehandler in the same environment.
