Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Southern is seeking an experienced Telehandler in the Horsham area to manage material movements and on-site logistics. The role requires a valid CPCS (Blue) card or NPORS CSCS ticket, with a minimum of two years’ Telehandler experience in a similar setting.

You will handle loading/unloading, materials transport, pallet stacking, and routine equipment checks, contributing to safe, efficient site operations.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CPCS (Blue) card or NPORS CSCS card is required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience operating a Telehandler in a construction environment.
• Health & safety awareness is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Obtain production schedule copies daily and transport materials on site.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles.
• Move goods on pallets or crates and ensure loads are secure.
• Stack empty pallets and perform daily equipment checks (battery recharging, lubrication).
• Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines.

Job description

Salary: GBP19 - GBP21 per hour

Do currently work in Construction? Are you a Telehandler currently looking for work? Do you hold a valid CPCS/NPORS CSCS card? If the answers are yes, we have roles opening with a reputable Construction company in the Horsham area.

• Location:Horsham
• Contract type: Temporary (Full time)

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

About you:

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• You will need a current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket.
• A minimum of 2 years+ experience operating a Telehandler in the same environment.
