Job summary

A Telehandler on site is required by Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Crawley. You will be responsible for transporting materials to designated areas, loading and unloading goods, moving pallets, and ensuring loads are secure, with daily equipment checks.

Applicants must hold a current CPCS blue card or NPORS CSCS card and have at least 2 years of Telehandler experience in a construction environment. You should be able to work well in a team or as a standalone on site.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS blue card or NPORS CSCS card is required.
• Minimum 2 years of Telehandler experience on construction sites.
• Adaptable to working in a team or standalone on site.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from designated areas on site.

Job description

Do currently work in Construction? Are you a Telehandler currently looking for work? Do you hold a valid CPCS/NPORS CSCS card? If the answers are yes, we have roles opening with a reputable Construction company in the Crawley area.

• Contract type: Temporary (Full time)

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

About you:

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• You will need a current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket.
• A minimum of 2 years+ experience operating a Telehandler in the same environment.
