Job summary

Fawkes & Reece is recruiting a Telehandler for an on-site role in Chichester. The candidate will be responsible for transporting materials, loading/unloading goods, ensuring loads are secure, and performing daily equipment checks on site.

Applicants must hold a valid CPCS blue card or NPORS CSCS ticket and have 3+ years of Telehandler experience in a similar construction environment. The position is contract-based with on-going work in a high-end development setting.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket.
• Minimum of 3 years+ experience operating a Telehandler in a similar site environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks.
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets.
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
