Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is seeking an experienced Telehandler to join a live site in Eastbourne. You will move materials, load/unload trucks, check loads, and maintain daily equipment checks.

A valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS ticket and at least 3 years' experience on Telehandler in similar settings are required. This temporary but ongoing full-time role offers £20 per hour on site, with on-site responsibilities and teamwork in a high-end residential development.

Qualifications

• Current CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS ticket required.
• Minimum of 3 years' Telehandler experience in similar site environments.
• Health & safety awareness advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Obtain production schedules and transport materials around site.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and move pallets.
• Check loads are secure and stack empty pallets.
• Perform daily equipment checks, e.g., battery recharge and lubrication.
• Remove attachments and waste material from machines.

Job description

Do you currently work in Construction? Are you a Telehandler currently looking for work? Do you hold a valid CPCS/NPORS CSCS card? If the answers are yes, we have roles opening with a reputable Construction company in the Eastbourne

area.

• Location: Eastbourne
• Contract type: Temporary (Full time)
• Duration: On-going

The company:

A well-established regional developer who builds between 30-50 units with a focus on high-end.

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

About you:

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• You will need a current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket.
• A minimum of 3 years+ experience operating a Telehandler in the same environment.
