Technology Technician Required - Liverpool (Post-Christmas Start)

Are you a skilled and adaptable technician looking for a rewarding, temporary role supporting creative and practical subjects? A dynamic Liverpool educational setting is seeking a dedicated Technology Technician to join our team on a temporary basis to cover a recruitment gap. This is a crucial support role, working across multiple engaging departments with a start date immediately following the Christmas break.

You will provide essential technical support across Design Technology, Food Technology, Textiles, and Art, ensuring a safe, organised, and effective learning environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation & Logistics: Prepare and clear away materials, tools, ingredients, and equipment for lessons.
  • In-Class Support: Provide in-class technical advice and ensure the safe and correct use of all machinery and equipment by students and staff.
  • Maintenance & Safety: Conduct routine safety checks and perform basic maintenance on equipment, including ovens, workshop tools, and sewing machines.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor the inventory of materials and supplies, assisting with ordering where necessary.
  • Environment: Maintain a safe, organised, and engaging learning environment across all practical areas.
