Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Technology Manager to lead the Partner Performance team in the Supply Performance and Experience domain. You will guide engineers to build an intelligent data layer, real-time insights, and predictive alerts that empower restaurant partners to optimize operations and revenue.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, coaching, and collaboration with the Head of Engineering to shape a domain roadmap and production-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing teams of engineers as its core technology using an Event Driven Architecture
• Delivering high quality software projects, driving forward best practices
• Able to work independently and solve complex problems
• Amazon Web Services (or similar e.g. Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban)
• Desire to coach engineers and to drive a high performance culture
• Experience developing products that drive user action from data

Responsibilities

• Own technical direction, engineering quality, and execution across multiple product development teams
• Design and implement impact-driven solutions delivering insights and features
• Collaborate with Head of Engineering to define a technical roadmap
• Coach engineers and develop career goals
• Prioritise work with stakeholders to align with commercial needs and engineering strategy
• Track progress and communicate updates to teams and Head of Engineering
• Deploy and support changes in production
• Share development practices and standards across teams
