Job summary

Emplyfy in Woodley is seeking a Technical Systems Engineer to join a high-tech organisation delivering managed IT services to established businesses. The role covers technical support, infrastructure maintenance and hands-on work at client sites, taking ownership of issues through to resolution and coordinating with external partners when needed.

The package includes £30,000–£40,000, 40 days of annual holiday, and a requirement for Cyber Essentials, GDPR security standards, and Microsoft 365

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in IT role.
• Experience with Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 apps and cloud services.
• Experience with Intune and RMM platforms.
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Azure experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site at client locations.
• Coordinate with external partners as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical contact for customers.
• Attend customer premises to diagnose faults and carry out maintenance.
• Manage support cases using the Service Desk platform.
• Escalate incidents needing management intervention.
• Monitor and maintain customer environments to meet business needs.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair hardware/software.
• Keep technical records and documentation up to date.
• Take ownership of urgent/high-priority incidents.
