Job summary

Emplyfy seeks an experienced IT professional for a hands-on role within an international MSP. You will resolve technical issues, support environments remotely and on customer premises, and manage incidents via the Service Desk.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT engineering, strong Cyber Essentials/GDPR compliance, MS 365 expertise, and solid networking skills for on-site and remote support. This position is based in Epsom, with travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in IT engineering or a similar role.
• Experience with Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards (mandatory).
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 services and admin tools (mandatory).
• Able to work with Azure, Intune and RMM solutions.
• Strong networking knowledge (routers, switches, DHCP/DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, VLANs).
• Comfortable supporting both remote and on-site customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers and act as a trusted contact for support.
• Visit customer sites to investigate issues, perform installations and maintenance.
• Manage incidents and tasks via the Service Desk system.
• Provide regular updates and ensure tickets progress within SLAs.
• Escalate critical or complex issues to management as needed.
• Organise daily workloads and handle urgent tasks promptly.
• Monitor client environments to maintain reliability and business fit.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair IT hardware/software.
• Maintain accurate ticket data and document actions.
• Respond to major incidents remotely and on-site.
