Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Technical Customer Support specialist in Long Crendon. This full-time, permanent role involves assisting customers by phone, email and chat, resolving delivery issues, processing refunds, and advising on product suitability.

You will handle returns and warranty matters, prepare quotations, and provide technical support with a proactive approach. A strong command of English and numeracy is essential.

Qualifications

Experience in customer support, ideally with technical knowledge.
Technical mindset and interest in how things work.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multitask across several enquiries.
Excellent written and verbal English.
Good numeracy and basic MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, email, and chat.
Chase delivery issues with couriers.
Handle amendments to customer orders.
Manage product returns and warranty issues.
Process refunds.
Offer pre-sales product advice and technical support.
Recommend products and advise on suitability.
Conduct basic technical calculations.
Prepare quotations and proforma invoices.
