Position: Technical Support Engineer (IBM iSeries or AS/400) - Global Software company

Fully remote

Do you have experience supporting and troubleshooting IBM iSeries or AS/400 mainframe environments?

Our client is a renowned software company, with clients including NASA. They develop innovative software solutions used worldwide.

In this role, you will provide technical support for our client's environment, working on both Linux and Windows servers.

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Representing our client as the first point of contact
• Assisting customers by demonstrating expertise in IBM iSeries or AS/400
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting performance and integration issues

Technical requirements:

• 5+ years in tech support
• Experience with Linux and Windows servers
• Basic networking and shell scripting skills

Preferred skills:

• Hands-on experience with PHP related technologies
