Anson McCade Pty in London is seeking an IT Support Analyst to join a small team in a regulated financial services setting. You’ll gain exposure to market data terminals and a broad IT estate, with responsibilities spanning hardware, software, accounts and telephony.

You will support Microsoft 365, AD/Entra and endpoint security, while contributing to changes, upgrades and documentation. The role offers progression toward senior support and infrastructure engineering.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products including Teams and OneDrive.
• Experience supporting financial market data terminals (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
• Active Directory and Entra administration with groups, OUs and GPO management.
• Basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS.
• Experience supporting conference rooms and large events (Zoom Rooms/Teams).
• Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting with a customer focus.
• Experience on a service desk and willingness for out-of-hours support.
• Understanding of mobile device management and endpoint security.

Responsabilidades

• Take user calls and log issues in the ticket system.
• Support market data terminals such as Bloomberg and Refinitiv.
• Set up and fix laptops, desktops, phones and mobile devices.
• Configure network devices and local printers.
• Assist with Windows and iOS device administration.
• Coordinate with suppliers to keep products/services running.
• Ensure workstations can reach required services.
• Assist with equipment installs, moves and changes on site.
• Track performance and produce reports; plan upgrades and refresh cycles.
• Write and update desktop documentation.

Most helpdesk jobs leave you answering the same ticket types on a loop.

This IT Support Analyst role gives you real variety by giving you more responsibility across the whole estate of a major player in investment services/capital markets.

It offers the opportunity to learn and progress in a scaling business as you support people who cannot afford to wait, in a regulated financial services setting helping you build a sought-after skillset.

The work

As an IT Support Technician, your week could include:

• Taking user calls and logging each issue in the ticket system
• Manage/support market data terminals such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv etc.
• Setting up and fixing laptops, desktops, phones and mobile devices
• Configuring network and local printers
• Administering Windows and Apple iOS devices and their software
• Working with suppliers to keep their products and services running
• Making sure every workstation can reach the services it needs
• Helping with equipment installs, moves and changes on site
• Tracking performance and producing reports
• Planning and carrying out upgrades, repairs and refresh cycles
• Writing and updating desktop documentation

What you need

You don't need 100% of the skills listed below, if you feel you are ticking most boxes but missing a few, you should still apply. This could be an opportunity to fill these gaps.

• Microsoft 365 knowledge, including Teams and OneDrive
• Experience supporting (financial) market data terminals (think Bloomberg, Refinitiv or similar)
• Active Directory and Entra administration, including groups, OUs, GPO and MIM
• Basic networking: TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS
• Experience supporting conference rooms and large events on Zoom Rooms or Teams
• Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting
• Experience on a service desk, with a strong customer focus
• Understanding of mobile device management and endpoint security
• Willingness to work set support schedules and be reachable out of hours in emergencies
