Job summary

OPSWAT is seeking a mid-to-senior level Joint Professional Services and Technical Support Engineer to support customers in the UK. The role blends professional services with technical support, coordinating with a global team to implement OPSWAT products, transfer knowledge, and drive best practices.

You will mentor teammates, influence the roadmap, and engage in additional activities such as sales support and product testing. Travel to accounts and company meetings is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Windows Server.
• Basic knowledge of Linux with willingness to expand.
• Foundations in networking concepts.
• Interest in cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Customer-oriented attitude and ability to handle difficult customers.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting IT issues.
• Willingness to travel to assigned accounts and company meetings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global OPSWAT Support to resolve technical issues quickly, meeting SLAs.
• Serve as Technical Account Manager to engineering-minded customers.
• Provide professional services for implementing OPSWAT products.
• Maintain customer relationships through regular calls, occasional in-person meetings, and better issue management.
• Coordinate activities between Support, R&D, Product Management, and other departments.
• Gain functional and some technical expertise in OPSWAT products.
• Perform on-site professional services (training, system implementation) as requested.
• Contribute to special projects and assist Sales when needed.
