Job summary

Witan Search is assisting a growing specialty chemicals manufacturer in the UK, known for metalworking fluids and fluid management solutions. The role centers on technical support to Sales Engineers and customers, plus delivering training at customer sites.

Ideal candidates have a chemistry-based education, 1–3 years in metalworking, strong customer-facing communication, fluent English, and a willingness to travel across the UK.

Qualifications

• A chemistry-based education or technical background in fluid management.
• Ideally 1–3 years' relevant experience in the metalworking industry.
• Experience in a customer-facing role, with ability to communicate at all levels.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel extensively across UK mainland.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Sales Engineers and customers.
• Deliver technical training at customer sites.
• Join Sales Engineers on visits to clients and prospects.
• Identify growth opportunities and provide technical support to win them.
• Initiate and support new product launches.
• Feed back on product performance to Headquarters and assist in development.
• Take a leading role in technically driven activities.
• Interpret and communicate laboratory results.
