Job summary

Mercury Hampton Ltd are exclusive partners to a market-leading manufacturer of industrial lubricants and metalworking fluids. We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to cover the North of England, combining account management with new business development.

You will identify opportunities, provide technical recommendations and deliver solutions that improve operations, while earning via a strong base salary plus uncapped commission in a field-based role.

Qualifications

• Experience selling metalworking fluids or industrial lubricants.
• Understanding of CNC machining, machine shop environments, manufacturing operations or precision engineering.
• Strong relationship-building and account management capabilities.
• Proven success in both new business development and customer retention.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, from shop floor to senior management.
• Commercially astute with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a field-based territory.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
