Job summary

Flow Europe GmbH in the United Kingdom is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service and support Flow waterjet systems across the UK. You will troubleshoot, perform commissioning, and provide customer training.

Expect travel mainly within the UK with occasional assignments in Europe. Fluent English is required; a driving license and hands-on mechanical/electrical experience are essential for successful on-site support.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical engineering background required or equivalent technical training.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with machine tools assembly and motion control systems preferred.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, save and report failures in the field.
• Provide maximum technical support to customers to minimize downtime.
• Perform installations independently until final acceptance.
• Conduct customer start-up training and safety training for CE-compliancy.
• Install waterjet cutting machines mainly in the UK and Europe.
• Troubleshoot waterjet machines and components on-site and by phone.
• Travel during the week, with possible weekend work.
• Stay on site until problems are solved and the job is finished.
