Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus UK in Manchester is looking for a Technical Service Advisor to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. In this role you will support the busy workshop by managing, booking and maintaining job cards and ensuring they are accurately processed in a timely manner, while engaging with customers and colleagues.

You will also support the parts department with ordering parts, costing work and raising invoices.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience in a busy environment.
• Experience with invoicing and cash handling.
• Ability to work in a small team and adapt to a busy workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage, book and maintain job cards with timely processing.
• Engage with customers, colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
• Order parts and coordinate sub-contract work when required.
• Cost and invoice from job cards/repair orders; handle cash/cheques as applicable.
• Report time, hours sold, statistics and budgetary information as required.
