Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus in Manchester is seeking a Technical Service Advisor to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. You will support the busy workshop by managing, booking and maintaining job cards and ensuring they’re processed accurately and efficiently while communicating with customers and stakeholders.

You will also assist the parts department with orders and sub-contact work, cost the repairs and raise invoices, and report time, hours sold and budget information as required.

• Experience in customer service or admin in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to communicate with stakeholders in a small team.

Are you looking for a dynamic role? Are you able to work well under pressure, with a keen eye for detail?

We are recruiting for a Technical Service Advisor to join our team in Manchester on a full time permanent basis.

In this role you will support the busy workshop with managing, booking and maintaining job cards and ensuring they’re all accurately and efficiently processed within a timely manner. All while engaging and communicating with customers, colleagues and key stakeholders at all levels.

Along with managing the workload with the workshop, you will also be required to support the parts department with ordering parts and sub-contact work when required. You will be costing the work and raising invoices from job card/repair orders. Which in turn will mean you’re responsible for the cash, cheques for any work completed and parts used that will need to be charged back to appropriate accounts. You will be responsible for reporting time, hours sold, statistics and budgetary information as and when required.

• ideally you will have some technical knowledge or administrative experience in a customer service environment
