Arco, the UK’s leading safety experts, is expanding its Technical Sales team by adding five specialists across PPE, clothing, footwear and related product categories. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will own one or more categories, drive new business, support the field sales teams, and translate technical information into clear commercial benefits.

A UK driving licence and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Commercially focused with proven experience in business development or technical sales in the UK safety product market.
• Awareness of EN ISO standards applicable to the product category.
• Confident communicator who can influence customers and internal sales teams.
• Experienced trainer/coach who can develop and support sales teams.
• Background in PPE manufacturing, distribution, or category-focused sales roles.
• Customer-focused with a collaborative mindset.
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop UK business development strategies for one or more categories (Gloves, Footwear, Hazard Wear, Clothing, Factory Equipment, Hygiene or PPE).
• Identify, target and convert new opportunities while expanding existing relationships.
• Support sales teams through joint visits, demonstrations and solution-building discussions.
• Build strong relationships with end users, procurement, health & safety professionals and operational stakeholders.
• Support customer trials, product evaluations and standardisation initiatives.
• Sell into a variety of sectors and adapt approach to different risk profiles and environments.
• Maintain awareness of product category standards to support credible conversations.
