Thomas Lee Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer within a manufacturing-focused environment in the United Kingdom. You will identify opportunities, visit sites, and work with technical teams to craft proposals that win orders while building long-term client relationships.

The ideal candidate has a proven technical sales track record, experience in machinery movement or related services, and a proactive approach to managing a sales pipeline across manufacturing

Qualifications

• Track record in technical sales.
• Experience talking to engineering managers, operations teams and business owners.
• Understanding machinery movement, crane hire or industrial installation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop opportunities with manufacturers, engineering businesses and machinery suppliers.
• Visit customer sites to understand upcoming projects and requirements.
• Work with the technical and operations teams to develop proposals and quotations.
• Follow opportunities through from initial enquiry to securing the order.
• Build repeat business through strong relationships and reliable follow-up.
