Job summary

PPG is seeking a Technical Sales Manager for EWI and Render in the UK field-based role covering the southern region. You will engage with social housing asset teams, engineers, retrofit designers, architects and contractors to expand relationships and drive projects.

The role requires a consultative sales approach, strong project management and networking skills, with visits and training across sites as needed. Reporting to the National Technical Sales Manager.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in product sales within construction or related industries.
• Strong product knowledge of construction sector and contractual awareness.
• Ability to prepare reports and presentations and share information by deadlines.
• Role requires travel within/without the territory and overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Survey, design and specify EWI & Render documentation per clients and contractors.
• Develop network with A&D practices, designers, engineers for Render & EWI opportunities.
• Identify social housing decarbonisation and retrofit opportunities with asset teams.
• Support the national network of approved installers and deliver training to contractors.
• Train and upskill PPG staff with technical knowledge, best practices, and product training.
• Work within pricing structures and perform calculations to support sales.
• Lead specification stages to convert opportunities into sales pipelines.
• Develop specifications (Golden Thread) tailored to PPG to reduce substitutions.
• Collaborate to manage projects from lead to pipeline conversion.
