Job summary

UBT is seeking a commercially driven Technical Sales Lead to win high-value, project-led opportunities in the construction sector. The role inherits qualified opportunities and focuses on relationships, stakeholder navigation, and securing major contracts.

You will collaborate with estimators and technical teams, manage a multi-million pound portfolio, travel nationally, and drive the sales cycle from technical to commercial agreement.

Qualifications

• Experience in selling complex, project-led solutions.
• Proven track record in long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of complex project opportunities.
• Lead client meetings, presentations and commercial negotiations.
• Build relationships with developers, contractors, architects and key decision-makers.
• Review technical drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with internal technical and pre-construction teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Drive projects through the sales cycle to contract award.
• Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and CRM records.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets.
