Job summary

Universal Business Team is recruiting on behalf of a market-leading business in the construction sector for a Technical Sales Lead role. You will own a portfolio of live opportunities, guiding projects from technical consultation through to commercial agreement and order placement.

You will work with estimators, commercial teams and technical specialists to develop tailored solutions, lead negotiations, and build long-term client relationships across the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
• Experience selling technical or project-based solutions.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of complex project opportunities.
• Develop winning sales strategies for large-scale construction projects.
• Lead client meetings, presentations and commercial negotiations.
• Build relationships with developers, contractors, architects and key decision-makers.
• Review technical drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with internal technical and pre-construction teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Drive projects through the sales cycle to successful contract award.
• Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and CRM records.
