Job summary

Matthew James Group Ltd is seeking two experienced Technical Sales Executives to join a growing business serving refrigeration, HVAC, retail and industrial sectors. The role is home-based with regular customer visits across the North or South UK, offering a competitive salary and a clear path to commission-based earnings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical sales within an engineering or industrial sector.
• Track record of selling to end-user customers and growing revenue.
• Ability to discuss applications with engineering/operational teams.
• Willing to travel and manage a sales territory.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities.
• Build and manage relationships with decision-makers across engineering, technical, facilities and operations teams.
• Promote and sell a range of technical products and solutions, with clear understanding of customer applications.
• Develop existing customer accounts, identifying opportunities to increase revenue, margins and market share.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and technical discussions through to quotations, negotiations and closing deals.
• Work towards agreed revenue, gross profit and business development targets.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer information and a structured pipeline of opportunities.
• Work closely with internal technical and commercial teams to deliver appropriate solutions for customers.
