Job summary

PPU Ltd (Premium Power Units Ltd) Glasgow is seeking an engineering sales professional to grow the business in Scotland. You will build strong relationships with existing customers and identify new opportunities, translating technical specifications into compelling proposals.

With a solid background in mechanical engineering and experience selling rotating equipment, you’ll combine technical insight with commercial focus to deliver value for customers and for the company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in external or internal sales within an engineering environment.
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge and understanding of rotating equipment, motors, pumps.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities effectively.
• Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth across the region.
• Understand and interpret customer specifications and technical requirements.
• Recommend and specify the most suitable / cost effective solutions for each application.
• Liaise with manufacturers to identify the best equipment options.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals.
• Provide product expertise and technical support to customers.
• Collaborate closely with the team to achieve business goals.
• Manage customer accounts and support projects from enquiry through to order completion.
