Job summary

Machine Mart is seeking a customer-focused sales specialist to join our team. You will help customers choose technically complex tools and explain features in plain terms. You’ll work as part of a small team, aiming to exceed customer expectations and reach challenging sales targets.

Qualifications

• Experience selling technical products to customers.
• Background in a retail customer service environment.
• Experience dealing with customers in a sales setting.
• Practical knowledge of part or all product range.
• Strong accuracy and numeracy skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• You are self-motivated with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Join a small team of 4–6 staff and contribute to a great customer experience.
• Work up to 45 hours per week; all extra time paid or taken as time off in lieu.
• Explain technical equipment in an understandable way and build rapport with customers.
• Strive to exceed customer expectations and support the achievement of sales targets.
