Goods‑In/Out QA: Perform quality checks on incoming goods (raw materials and finished products) and outgoing customer orders to verify product quality, labelling compliance, and physical condition.
Audit Support: Assist the QA Manager during internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation and operational evidence are readily available.
Education: A Degree (or equivalent) in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a closely related scientific discipline is essential.
Knowledge: A foundational understanding of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles and Food Safety Management Systems. Familiarity with specific UK and Ireland food standards (e.g., BRC, BFC, FSA) is highly advantageous.
Skills: Strong analytical and report‑writing skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work methodically under pressure. Proficient in MS Office applications.
Attributes: Highly organised, proactive, and possessing excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with warehouse operations and management.
