• Minimum HNC/HND in mechanical engineering or a related field, backed by practical experience.
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments.
• Proven problem-solving skills: Root Cause Analysis and fault finding.
• Technical proficiency: Excel, PI Process Book and SAP Planned Maintenance.
• Leadership and teamwork with ability to coach others.

Responsibilities

• Keep things running smoothly: Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance automated, electromechanical systems from refrigeration to meat processing equipment, conveyors, and fluid systems.
• Be the problem solver: Diagnose breakdowns and ensure timely resolutions, reducing downtime to boost productivity.
• Team leader & technical coach: Lead by example and support colleagues, sharing expertise to elevate the team.
• Drive improvement: Take on small-scale improvements, contributing to continuous innovation and efficiency.
• Champion safety: Participate in risk assessments and ensure activities adhere to safety standards (ISO 14000, PTW, Hot Work).
• Collaborative communication: Bridge operations and technical teams with clear, effective communication.
• Develop talent: Help build the next generation of engineers through training and coaching.
