Job summary

Humanoid is seeking a Technical Lead to build the platform enabling engineers to move faster with coding agents while protecting code, infrastructure, and robots. This hands-on leadership role requires building critical systems, recruiting engineers, and driving key initiatives from day one.

You will own secure agent runtimes, implement access controls, monitor deployments, and work across Developer Tools, Security, Safety, Simulation, and robot software teams.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating developer tooling such as build systems, CI/CD, test infra or internal platforms.
• Comfort with large codebases or monorepos.
• Practical experience with Linux, containers and cloud infrastructure; Kubernetes knowledge.
• Hands-on experience leading engineers while staying technically hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Own the path from an agent task to a healthy deployed change, including acceptance criteria, execution, verification, merge, rollout, monitoring and rollback.
• Build secure, reproducible agent runtimes with identity, credentials, access controls and replayable execution records.
• Develop interfaces for developers to launch, monitor and control agents and enable collaboration through shared memory and appropriate access.
• Reduce tokens and retries through better context assembly, routing, caching, and task decomposition.
• Provide agents fast access to builds, tests, simulation, replay and hardware-in-the-loop with fixed acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve codebase navigation and verification through clear interfaces and documented paths.
• Recruit and lead the team while remaining hands-on; measure success by cost per accepted change and defect rate.
