Job summary

Humanoid is seeking a Technical Lead to architect and ship the platform that enables engineers to deploy faster with coding agents while safeguarding code, infrastructure, and robots.

You will lead a hands-on team across Developer Tools, Security, Safety, Simulation, and robot software, delivering secure, reproducible runtimes and scalable agent ecosystems that improve velocity and reduce costs without increasing defects or risk.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating developer tooling or infrastructure used across engineering teams, such as build systems, CI/CD, test infrastructure, deployment pipelines, or internal platforms.
• Proven ability to lead engineers while staying hands-on and turn ambitious goals into usable systems.
• Strong software engineering skills with comfort in large codebases or monorepos.
• Practical knowledge of Linux, containers, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Own the path from an agent task to a healthy deployed change, including acceptance criteria, execution, verification, merge, rollout, monitoring, and rollback.
• Build secure, reproducible agent runtimes with identity, credentials, access controls, and replayable execution records; detect unauthorized activity.
• Create interfaces for developers to launch, monitor, and control agents with shared memory and authorized access to company resources.
• Improve context assembly, model/tool routing, caching, and task decomposition to reduce tokens and retries for accepted work.
• Provide agents fast access to builds, tests, simulation, replay, and hardware-in-the-loop with fixed acceptance criteria.
