Job summary

Humanoid is building the world’s most capable humanoid platform and seeks a Software Engineer to own the build system and CI infrastructure across firmware, robot software, simulation, and cloud. You will drive hermetic, incremental builds in a multi-target monorepo and collaborate with every engineering team to keep main green and fast delivery of pilots.

This deeply technical infra role requires designing scalable CI pipelines, build instrumentation, and robust dependency management to enable

Qualifications

Experience with build systems and CI at scale.
Strong understanding of hermetic build environments.
Ability to debug complex build failures across multiple languages and toolchains.
Experience with dependency management and the tradeoffs between reproducibility, speed, and upstream risk.
Good instincts for developer experience.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain CI pipelines in GitHub Actions with incremental tests and nightly builds.
Instrument the build with telemetry and dashboards showing build/test times.
Define policies to keep main green: merge queue, PR gating, on-call process.
Own and maintain the remote build cache infrastructure and read-only promotion from main.
Own the developer environment story: local builds and dependency management.
Maintain dependency mirroring infrastructure (apt, PyPI, and others).
