The Role

We are looking for someone to come in and lead the development of an exciting new project incubated internally. You will be leading a team of Rust developers to build an innovative decentralised exchange for spot and derivatives trading, from scratch. The project aims to exceed both the standards of traditional-finance market places, and the transparency and autonomy afforded by decentralised systems.

Some of the design goals involve:

- Efficient and low latency trading via central limit order books

- Margin trading taking full advantage of cross-collateralization

- A sophisticated and robust automated risk engine for an autonomous central clearing counterparty

What you’ll need

  • Solid work experience at a top investment bank, hedge fund or prop trading firm.
  • Strong development skills, ideally in Rust but possibly in other system languages (Go, C#, C++ etc.).
  • Experience leading development teams working on complex projects.
  • Interest in blockchain-enabled trading.
  • Comfortably navigate collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including product managers and developers.
