Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited in Daventry is recruiting for a Technical Internal Sales Executive to join a busy, office-based sales team. You will handle customer enquiries, prepare quotations, process orders and support customers from enquiry to delivery.

This permanent role offers full training on products and applications, the chance to progress into a more technical sales position, and a competitive salary dependent on experience plus 26 days leave.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales or customer-facing role.
• Confident telephone manner and clear written communication.
• Organised, accurate and able to handle multiple enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer enquiries by phone, email and live chat in a professional and helpful manner.
• Prepare accurate quotations and follow up with customers to progress opportunities.
• Process customer orders accurately and monitor them through to delivery.
• Develop detailed product knowledge across consumables, ancillaries and related technical equipment.
• Work with purchasing and technical colleagues to source products and identify suitable solutions for customer projects.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, quotations and orders using Microsoft Business Central.
• Build trusted customer relationships by understanding requirements and recommending appropriate products.
• Support the wider sales and technical team on larger, more complex or bespoke enquiries.
