Platform Recruitment is seeking a Technical Internal Sales Representative for Newmarket. The role focuses on managing inbound leads, qualifying opportunities, and building strong customer relationships for technically driven products.

You will proactively generate pipeline, understand customer requirements, and identify upsell opportunities while maintaining CRM records and a clear sales pipeline. Location is Newmarket with a £45k salary.

Qualifications

• Ideally 5+ years' sales experience.
• A technical mindset with the ability to understand basic engineering concepts.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Resilience and confidence when prospecting and handling rejection.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and qualify inbound leads, taking opportunities from initial enquiry through to quotation.
• Proactively generate your own pipeline through outbound calls, email, LinkedIn and other prospecting activity.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Understand customer requirements and assist with product selection.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and additional revenue.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and manage your sales pipeline.
