Job summary

HUBER+SUHNER UK is seeking an experienced customer support and sales professional to manage quotations, enquiries and orders, ensuring timely responses and accurate processing. You will work closely with technical and commercial teams to deliver solutions.

You will build strong relationships with customers, understand project needs and market trends, and collaborate across Sales, Supply Chain and Finance to exceed expectations while maintaining compliant records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in a customer support role and/or sales position.
• Profound technical understanding and knowledge.
• Good numeracy and computer literacy with Microsoft Office.
• Prior SAP knowledge is highly beneficial.
• Understanding of planning and supply chain networks.

Responsibilities

• Managing customer quotations, enquiries and orders with timely, accurate responses (within 24 hours).
• Coordinating technical, commercial and quality-related enquiries with specialist teams across the business.
• Building strong customer relationships through proactive communication and understanding of customer requirements, future projects and market trends.
• Collaborating with Sales, Application Engineering, Supply Chain and Finance to exceed customer expectations.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and ensuring all documentation and correspondence are up to date and well organised.
• Owning actions arising from customer requests and following through to successful resolution.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and reducing sales administration errors.
• Supporting a culture of excellence, compliance and safety by adhering to procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
