An exciting opportunity for a Technical Crew Instructor, based at Leonardo Helicopters, is now open for applications. We have designed, built, tested and trained customers at Yeovil for over 80 years and Leonardo’s facility is now the UK’s only end-to-end rotary wing manufacturer - Our success depends on the professionalism and capability of our people.
To maintain the highest standards in safety, mission readiness and crew competency we are looking for an experienced and motivated Technical Crew Instructor (TCI) to design, develop, and deliver flight training courses to customer and company aircrew, in accordance with contractual obligations, prioritising aviation safety.
Training delivery includes classroom-based instruction, Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs), and live aircraft, both in the UK and abroad. The role also involves providing Technical Crew Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support to other company departments (e.g., Programmes, Engineering) and customers, as well as supporting non-training flight operations.
This role is distinct in that Operational Role Training is required to be developed and delivered with a particular focus on Maritime Operations.
