Job summary

IBM in the United Kingdom is seeking an enthusiastic Subscription and Annuity Representative Intern to protect client install bases, identify win-back and modernization opportunities, and grow annual software spend. You will engage with clients and partners to articulate the value of IBM subscriptions and support.

You'll learn to lead renewal discussions, validate entitlements, and collaborate with sales teams across Brand Sales Specialist, TSL, Deal Makers, and Customer Success.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student.
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Communications, MIS, Engineering or related field.
• Strong communication and client engagement skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Expand skills in protecting the install base and growing annual software spend.
• Lead client software renewal discussions, including entitlement validation and licensing terms.
• Collaborate with Brand Sales Specialist, TSL, Deal Makers, Ecosystem Sales Specialist, and Customer Success Managers.
• Support territory strategy, account planning, and opportunity identification for winback and upgrades.
• Apply IBM’s sales methodology to identify new opportunities via multiple channels (email, phone, video, social).
• Engage in social selling to build thought leadership and influence potential clients.
