Job summary

Hertford Regional College invites applications for a Technology Centre Assistant across Broxbourne and Ware Campuses. This role supports learners with IT queries, loans equipment/books/resources, and helps deliver online learning resources while ensuring smooth daily operations.

You will assist the Centre Team Leader, welcome users, and provide basic IT help for MS Office/Teams/Office 365 on Windows or Mac. This is a term-time role with 38 weeks and a strong focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Experience delivering good customer service in a busy environment.
• Ability to provide basic IT support for common software and devices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with running the Technology Centre across Broxbourne and Ware Campuses.
• Provide a welcoming counter service and resolve learner IT issues.
• Offer basic technical support for Microsoft Office/Teams/Office 365/Windows/Mac.
• Help maintain a quiet, productive learning environment in the Centre.
• Perform other duties as required by the IT & Technology Manager.
