Hertford Regional College is seeking Learning Support Assistants to join the Broxbourne campus on a part-time, term-time basis. The role runs 9:00 to 16:30, three days per week, starting September 2026, to help learners access the college environment and realise their potential through academic and pastoral support.
You will be employed as a temporary agency worker via HRG, with a pay rate of £16.00 per hour including holiday pay.

We are recruiting for Learning Support Assistants to work at Hertford Regional College to help deliver an outstanding learner experience and be inspirational to students at HRC’s state of art facilities in Broxbourne
We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about enabling learners with identified learning differences to access the college environment, to include academic support, pastoral support and communication for learners to realise their potential.
We have 2 positions available, employed as a temporary agency worker via HRG, supporting Learners at the Broxbourne campus in various departments.
The roles are based on a working day of 9am to 4.30pm with a one-hour lunch break, term time only. 3 days per week.
The rate of pay is £16.00 per hour including holiday pay.
Starting September 2026, term time only on an ongoing temporary contract basis.
Successful candidates will possess experience of working in learning support with SEN Learners, ideally within the FE sector. You will display excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, an enthusiasm for promoting independence for young people, a commitment to the well‑being of all learners and a passion for constantly improving their learning experience.
