Job summary

Hertford Regional College is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to help deliver an outstanding learner experience at the Broxbourne campus. These roles support learners with identified learning differences across departments.

The positions are part-time, 9.00am to 4.30pm, term-time only, three days per week, paid £16.00 per hour including holiday pay. Starting September 2026, temporary agency contract via HRG.

Qualifications

• Experience working in learning support with SEN learners, ideally within FE.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills with a commitment to learner well-being.
• Passion for improving learners' learning experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic and pastoral support to learners.
• Assist learners with identified learning differences to access the college environment.
• Support learners across departments at Broxbourne campus during term-time.
• Promote independence and resilience in learners.
