Job summary

HF Holidays Limited at Harrington Country House seeks a friendly team member to prepare guest rooms and public areas, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. You will serve meals in the dining room and help deliver Afternoon Tea, with duties including picnic lunches for walking-holiday guests. Flexible to evenings and weekends is essential.

With a long history and 16 country houses across the UK, you will join a 500-strong team based at our Houses, Head Office in Hertfordshire, and remotely.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work as part of a team and flex to evenings and weekends.

Job description

Working in our Harrington Country House we provide a retreat for up to 47 guests who stay with us for guided or self-guided walking tour holidays. Your role will be preparing guest rooms and public areas, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. You will be the welcoming face serving meals in our dining room and adding to the charm of our hospitality by assisting in the delivery of Afternoon Tea. Our Team Members also assist in the preparation of picnic lunches, which our guests' love for their outdoor adventures. Our entire team gets involved in the heart of guest interactions, and we all work together to provide an atmosphere where guests feel cared for and attended to, With 112 years of history, we bring like-minded people together through more than 260 carefully crafted walking and activity holidays in the UK, Europe, and beyond. We also own and manage 16 characterful country houses in the heart of the UK's best-loved national parks landscapes. Supported by our 500 strong team who are based both remotely and at our Head Office in Hertfordshire as well as our Houses.
