Job summary

HF Holidays Limited at Freshwater Bay offers a role focused on making guest stays welcoming by preparing rooms and public areas, and delivering meals with warmth in our dining room. You will help with Afternoon Tea and picnic lunch prep, contributing to the charming hospitality of our country house retreat.

You will join a 500-strong team, supporting guests across UK walking holidays and our country houses, with flexible hours including weekends to ensure every guest feels cared for and attended

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or the willingness to learn.
• Great communication skills and deliver great customer service.
• Ability to be part of a team and flexible to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare guest rooms and public areas to a welcoming standard.
• Serve meals in the dining room and contribute to Afternoon Tea service.

Job description

Working in our Freshwater Bay Country House we provide a retreat for up to 77 guests who stay with us for guided or self-guided walking tour holidays. Your role will be preparing guest rooms and public areas, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. You will be the welcoming face serving meals in our dining room and adding to the charm of our hospitality by assisting in the delivery of Afternoon Tea. Our Team Members also assist in the preparation of picnic lunches, which our guests' love for their outdoor adventures. Our entire team gets involved in the heart of guest interactions, and we all work together to provide an atmosphere where guests feel cared for and attended to, With 112 years of history, we bring like-minded people together through more than 260 carefully crafted walking and activity holidays in the UK, Europe, and beyond. We also own and manage16 characterful country houses in the heart of the UK's best-loved national parks landscapes. Supported by our 500 strong team who are based both remotely and at our Head Office in Hertfordshire as well as our Houses.
