Job summary

HF Holidays is seeking a friendly Team Member to join our Thorns Hall country house in Sedbergh. You will help prepare guest rooms, assist in dining service, and contribute to a warm, inviting atmosphere for walkers and guests.

Experience in hospitality is welcome, but we value great communication and teamwork. The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends and is offered as part-time, permanent employment with employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or willingness to learn (hospitality environment).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible to evenings and weekends and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare guest rooms and public areas to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Serve meals in the dining room and assist with Afternoon Tea delivery.
• Help prepare picnic lunches for guests and support guest interactions throughout the stay.

What will you be doing:

Working in our Thorns Hall Country House we provide a retreat for up to 45 guests who stay with us for guided or self-guided walking tour holidays. Your role will be preparing guest rooms and public areas, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. You will be the welcoming face serving meals in our dining room and adding to the charm of our hospitality by assisting in the delivery of Afternoon Tea. Our Team Members also assist in the preparation of picnic lunches, which our guests love for their outdoor adventures. Our entire team gets involved in the heart of guest interactions, and we all work together to provide an atmosphere where guests feel cared for and attended to

About you:

• Experience in hospitality or the willingness to learn.

• Ability to be part of a team and flexible to work evenings and weekends.
