Job summary

Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall is seeking a Team Manager based in Truro to lead and support a care team across Mid & West Cornwall. The role involves supervising staff, developing care plans, and ensuring high-quality care while covering shifts as needed.

You will need prior care experience, leadership or supervisory experience, a UK driving licence with access to a vehicle, and the right to work in the UK.

We are looking for a Team Manager to join Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall, rated Outstanding by the CQC, working across our services to support our team and customers.

Based in Truro, covering Mid & West Cornwall

£29,500 a year, plus mileage at 35p per mile

40 hours a week, full-time and permanent

What your week looks like:

Leading, mentoring and developing a team of support workers

Carrying out supervisions, observations and performance reviews

Reviewing care plans, risk assessments and care records

Covering care shifts, so you stay close to the work your team does

You will need experience in any care setting, experience leading or supervising a team, confidence writing care plans and risk assessments, a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle, and the right to work in the UK. A Level 3 NVQ or Diploma in Health and Social Care is ideal, but we can support you to complete it.
