Job summary

Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall is seeking a Team Manager based in Truro to lead and support a care team across Mid & West Cornwall. The role involves supervising staff, developing care plans, and ensuring high-quality care while covering shifts as needed.

You will need prior care experience, leadership or supervisory experience, a UK driving licence with access to a vehicle, and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in care setting and experience leading or supervising a team.
• Confidence writing care plans and risk assessments.
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of support workers.
• Carrying out supervisions, observations and performance reviews.
• Reviewing care plans, risk assessments and care records.
• Covering care shifts to stay close to the team’s work.
