Job summary

Peters Dean Care Ltd is seeking a Senior Team Leader to oversee day‑to‑day practice across three supported accommodation homes in Bognor Regis and Worthing, supporting young people aged 16–18 as they prepare for independent living.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on staff supervision, standards, and smooth service operation, with opportunities to progress to Deputy Manager and other management roles. A salary of £37,000 and a daytime 9am–5pm schedule are on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in supported accommodation or similar setting.
• Ability to guide colleagues, delegate work and ensure tasks are completed.
• Organised and able to manage competing priorities across multiple homes.
• Understanding of safeguarding, boundaries, risk management and trauma-informed support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day work of the team, delegate tasks and ensure standards.
• Support Senior Support Workers to lead shifts and maintain consistent practice.
• Provide guidance and feedback to colleagues and address concerns.
• Ensure records, incident reports, support plans and risk assessments are completed on time.
• Maintain safe, welcoming homes and complete health and safety checks.
• Support staff with safeguarding concerns and escalate when needed.
• Monitor young people's progress and help staff support independence.
• Identify training needs and contribute to quality checks and Ofsted preparation.
• Communicate with the Deputy Manager to close outstanding actions and address staffing issues.
