Peters Dean Care Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker to lead the day-to-day operations in a service providing supported accommodation for young people aged 16–18.

You will build trusting relationships, support independence, and supervise a team on shift, with on-call duties and safeguarding at the core. This role offers training and clear progression toward Team Leader or management roles.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in supported accommodation or similar social care setting.
• Ability to take responsibility for a shift and lead staff.
• Understanding of safeguarding and risk management.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily shift and supervise Support Workers.
• Build positive relationships and provide practical and emotional support.
• Develop independent living skills such as cooking and budgeting.
• Complete handovers, incident reports and records.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and manage risks.
• Support wider team to ensure consistent assistance.
• Participate in the on-call rota and sickness cover.
