Job summary

Certitude is seeking a Team Manager in Chelmsford to lead a dedicated team delivering support to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs. You will be responsible for coaching, conducting 121s, and ensuring person-centred practices are embedded, with focus on risk awareness and documentation to support high-quality care.

The role is full-time, permanent, with 37.5 hours per week, offering a salary of £36,660 per annum and a DBS check as standard requirement.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting people with learning disability or mental ill health.
• Track record of enabling choice and control for people with learning disabilities or mental health.
• Experience of leading teams to embed person centred working.
• Understand the challenges faced by many people with disabilities or mental health.

Responsibilities

• Actively coach and train colleagues in person centred support practices.
• Carry out regular 121s, team meetings and annual reviews with all team members.
• Effectively manage risks of the people we support by ensuring team members understand what is important to the individual(s).
• Use information technology to undertake admin tasks and complete documentation and compile detailed written reports.
