Job summary

Certitude in Waltham Abbey/Epping Forest is hiring a Team Manager to lead a skilled team delivering support to people with varying needs. The role is based in Chelmsford area with 37.5 hours per week and a salary of £36,660 per annum.

You will coach staff, conduct regular 121s and annual reviews, and ensure risk is managed by understanding what matters to the individuals we support, while maintaining high standards of care and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting people with learning disability or mental ill health.
• Track record of enabling choice and control for people with learning disabilities or mental health.
• Experience of leading teams to embed person centred working.
• Understand the challenges that are likely to be faced by many people with disabilities or mental health.

Responsibilities

• Actively lead the team’s development by coaching and training colleagues in person centred support practices and approaches
• Carry out regular 121’s, team meetings and annual reviews with all team members, giving and acting on received feedback and identified development needs.
• Effectively manage risks of the people we support through ensuring team members understand what is important to the individual(s)
• To use information technology to undertake a range of administrative tasks and to follow procedural guidelines and complete appropriate documentation in required formats and to compile detailed written reports
